Gotta have bluetooth. Gotta have a camera.
Sony has apparently much better size and lcd. Nokia has Symbian and 16MB storage plus speakerphone.
Hard choice.... any thoughts? Anyone played with both?

N3650 operates on symbian OS, and u r mistaken if u think it has 16 Mb memory. Latest developement- u can get a 256 Mb memory card for approx. 50 USD. Imagine the possibilities.
If u live in Europe your phone can work as a street map and shortest route calculator.
You can run spreadsheets, language translator, automatic phone ans machine, Guitar tuner, motion detector, video recorder, predict sunrise sunset in your town, predict your girls mood swings, learn how to make any drink on the planet.... the limits are endless.
Symbian devices are the next generation of phones- if u r investing good money in a new phone-do not go for the previous generation.
Did I mention I play DOOM on my N3650?

Better wait for the 3660 which comes soon, same as the 3650 but with normal key layout and a 65536 color display.

N3660 is better than N3650?
N3660 has 65,536 colours- but for anyne who has seen any of the foll sets- Seimens SX1, Samsung D-700, Benq P30 or Motorola A920... there is not much discernable difference. Also as this would be the first 65K res set by Nokia... the pricing should be interesting. Also the N3660 will support EGSM 900 and have streaming video and audio.
But me thinks, the uniqueness of the rounded keypad puts you above the crowd which the 3660 would not have.
Give yourself a day with he N3650 & once your fingers have become used to it, grin in self satisfaction as your friends fumble with your phone... unsure even how to access the menu or dial a number!
And oh yes, the question was very specific- what is better N3650 or Sony T616

Search for
SimpleTech STI-MMC/128 128MB MultiMedia Card
on Amazon.com
it retails for $49.34
This link should work
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/listmania/list-browse/-/15X0IQTRP T8PC
also take a peekaboo at the following site
http://www.tecic.com.tw/English/Products.html
They are talking about a 512 Mb MMC...
Son if you have a Symbian phone and still believe in using stuff that Nokia provides you- God help u- buy a N640.
With 3650 the only thing stopping you is your imagination- not what Nokia hands out....

There is a sizeable difference in the quality of a 65k screen and wuz quite impressed by the 610's screen.
But, once u get used to a 3650, u dont want anythin else.
3660 should be priced competitively, as nokia plans to introduce the newer phones at affordable rates(especially the 3200, from the rumors, its being said they'll price it at about rs.13000!!!)

Nokia tends overprice everything- look at the t68i and any comp nokia phone and u'll know... i don't believe nokia will give a 65k screen a low cost.... anyway 3660 kills the unique keypad look of the 3650- reminder compaison was between 3650 & t616? )

Here in the Philippines, a T610 costs Php17,000 while a 3650 costs Php16,500. So that's just a USD10.00 difference in price, which is basically negligible if you're spending that much already. Anyway, what sold me what the quality of the T610's workmanship. After years and years of Nokias, I just got tired of the same old plastic block design and wanted something new. And the 65,000 screen and 32-voice polyphonics totally blew away what my mom was getting from her 7250i. Of course, I'm not going to defend the miserable non-expandable 2MB memory or the grainy-as-hell camera, but it just has that X-FACTOR that makes people sit up and go "whoa" instead of "what the hell-?"
I dig the features of the 3650 though. Right now, my idea of the greatest phone in the world is the upcoming 6320. Check that out on the Nokia site my friend!
