Is it possible for a RAZR to get a virus (verizon)? It's my wifes phone, she doesn't use the web browser or the Bluetooth function. Only Text/pix/flix messaging. I've been searching, and it seems that you can't get a virus from a text or pix/flix message.
Some of the people in her contacts have been getting strange text messages that she didn't send, and some tex messages that she does send don't arrive until several days later.

Its virtually impossible for a Motorola to get a virus.
Delayed text messages sounds more like a network issue.
Are the strange messages like >@ ?
If so its an issue with the receivers phone.

Actually it seems to be a combination of both. Delayed messages that were sent by us + strange random gibberish messages received by our friends, that say they are from our number, but we did not initiated them.

I would talk to your network provider. Delayed messages are nothing to do with your phone (unless poor signal you didn't notice)
Its possible that the phone is responsible for random key presses causing messages to be sent but I would say highly unlikely.
It could also be the other parties network - all they all with same provider?
Anyway in summary I very much doubt its a phone problem
