It figures....I "retire" my Dolce & Gabbana V3i for a new V3xx that is GRAY!. Which is fine, since it really is a cool phone. Today I see where Moto brings out the Gold V3xx. Argghhh!!
Lucky for me, I have a girlfriend (our phones are on the same account) that is due for an upgrade and she wants to hang on to her 2 1/2 year-old original silver V3 for as long as she can. So I can upgrade her account and get the gold V3xx for the upgrade price. Very cool. It will be here Monday.
Can't understand why the gold V3xx is $50.00 more, but oh well. Not only that, but the original V3xx is $25.00 cheaper than it was a month ago. Geez, who the hell can keep up with this.
And who cares?.

I guess to each his own, I checked out the gold V3xx and it just wasn't for me. I like this shade of gray better than the original V3 silvery-gray or the black V3. It's more of what I'd call a "gun-metal" gray.

I got the gunmetal one my wife got the gold one. She looks like flava flave, but she loves it. KEEERIST I can see her coming a mile off with her phone. If she wants gold teef next I'll start shopping attorneys.

the import version has the video calling  feature and unlocked but i heared from cingular will realease this fall the new v3xx with video calling options to your service, i use the razr v6 maxx and the video calling works on my phone with cingular ONLY in the sandiego area of california,  the catch is the video calling works ONLY IF THE OTHER CALLER HAS THE HANDSET WITH THIS FEATURE!  my roomate has it the same v6 razr maxx and cingular only has the feature in sandiego and parts in other states and soon to the whole state of california this fall. you might like this one better and DOES NOT COME IN THE UGLY GOLD! YEAH!  AND YES ITS BLACK IN COLOR.  i live in sandiego area and cingular just did the 3g switch on the network from att&t? and some corporate stores carry video phones here.but wait the v3xx version is better,the ones here are a bit bulky in size,  also the v6maxx razr also works with verizon wireless its a gsm trimode/cdma 1800/2100 for verizon,  and verizon will have the razr v6 maxx v6 at end of april, but im happy with cingular/att&t down here.  GOOD LUCK!
