I've received conflicting information from Motorola and Verizon. not between the 2, but from e-mail support vs. speaking to a live person, from both companies. Does anyone know. is it possible to update the K1m's Bluetooth to include A2DP & AVRCP? Specifically, does it just need software or does it need other hardware too? Both Motorola and Verizon (live phone support) tell me the K1m does not need hardware, just software. True or False? Anyone? Verizon has even gone as far as telling me if customer interest is there, the software may be available for download at Verizon stores.

I wouldn't believe there is an update till I've seen one.
All we can say is its not supported at present. and I would assume there is a reason for supporting it in k1 and not k1m

Just received a new e-mail from Motorola stating that no K1m, regardless of the provider, can be updated to include A2DP. I guess it really is a hardware issue. If it wasn't for the good service, I'd switch to Cingular. Verizon is always so behind the times with the phones it offers.
