I have only had my new Nokia 6030 for under 3 weeks, but it shows what I think is a voicemail icon, and when I called customer care they said it was a voicemail, but it wasn't. Please help me. I am on togo service and I upgraded to this phone by placing the SIM card in it, and the battery was already charged, which I found odd.

Hi Wirelessnerd,
Which icon is it? The tape icon or the envelope icon?
There are several icons and each one represents different things. Different solutions for different icons:)

It was the tape icon, but now it is gone, but I would like to know why I had it when I had not gotten any voicemails out of the box, but it is gone now.

The icon is actually controlled by a command on the SIM card, you must have had a voicemail from your old phone.and when you moved the old SIM into the new phone you brought over the icon "ON".
Nothing to worry about
