my razr is broken. the screen is always white and only sometimes it works. how can i fix it? can verizon fix it for free? also my contract just ended

screen going white is a known issue with the razr. nothing verizon can do about it. sometimes doing a hard reboot - pulling the battery out while the phone is on - will get it working again, most times not. you say your contract is up? so your phone is more than a year old? time to get a new phone

White screens are sometimes occurring on the chocolate phones as well, and it's marked as a manufacturer's defect. If a store tech at a VZW direct store (make sure the store has techs) takes a look at the phone for defects they can find 'em. After verified defects, they can send a refurbished phone. After a couple refurbished phones (assuming they don't work out as well, defects) you can get a different model, LG 8300 or Moto E815. Some managers will offer the KRAZR as a replacement if it's the third replacement device for issues.
