Hi,
I'm a newbie to this forum. I have a Motorola V180 and I really want to unlock it. I did a search and I found out the method to unlock it but at the same time I found that there are some who couldnt do it. My flasback is an RG364, but I dont have a USB cable. I also read that there could be some complications with unsuccessful unlockings. So I was thinking if anyone could help me out.
I did read in the forums that some of the members like OldFool was willing to unlock V180s for free. So Oldfool, if it is ok with u, could you unlock my V180 for free? Please?

Hey There.When I tried to unlcok it, this was the major mistake I made. I plugged in the phone to the computer, turned it on flash mode but i ddint install the drivers for motorola. U'll have to hit the add new hardware deal and then locate the "drivers" folder in p2k man. Then once thats installed, open p2kman and run the motorola unlocker program. U'd have to follow the steps which was on a previous thread on how to unlock it by then. It should work.

Just bought a sidekick 2 off ebay and really need to use cingular as the provider. However, I am still totally confused as to if it is really possible at all to do so. I know that Old Fool is the top dog around here and most people seem to to turn to him. So once and for all, so I can put this question to rest, I need to know. I figure "The Man" aka Old Fool would know. I heard he can unlock anything.hey that's the word on the street Well, I am wishing myself Luck, crossing my fingers and awaiting my answer! Over and out!

Look on ebay for your answers , i think sidekick is unlock able, but i don't know how!1 sorry

For anyone who is interested in finding there answers on ebay search the ebay blogs! On the ebay site. All the answers are there and there FREE! Just type in Unlock Sidekick 2 or Unlock or just sidekick 2. Or ya know what he is a few links just to make it as easy as possible.
