I have problem  with my v200. Phone usually works ok, but sometimes it shows network reception is normal and I am unavailable. I cant send messages or make calls and reception indicator keeps "blinking" that is it is black for few seconds and then it is light gray. The only thing I can do is to restart the phone and then everything works just fine.
Also, if I set my network selection to automatic, sometimes happens that if it loose network it cant find it, that is "limited service" message is shown on the screen. In that case I select my network manually and everything works just fine.
My software version is: F: V20XXWA2
V20XXWE5
I havent changed my firmware by myself that is I bought new phone like this...
WHAT could be the problem?  Maybe firmware update to F3 or G1 would solve the problem? I would appreciate every possible help. Thanks...

So there is no other solution then... I`ll just have to blaim it on the Sun

Check your IMEI ##, does it match your original IMEI ?

I checked my IMEI and it matches to that on the back of the phone. But there is one "strange thing", that is when my IMEI appears on the screen there is in the upper right corner near to last I of IMEI single black dot... Maybe thats not imoprtant, but who knows Maybe thats the one of bad spirits which possesed my phone
Is F3 or G1 better than E5 and what are the most visible differnces? Is there any improvement regarding lets say animation speed or GPRS or...

That ' next to IMEI is the # of that *#06# you typed.
But that thing about the sun was no joke it was on the news.

Yes, I heard that too... I could only hope that thats the problem with my v200 ... We`ll see...
And what about those software differences between F3 and G1?
I have another question - how to get rid of that annoying SMS sound repeating until you read the message? Sometimes it is useful but not at night;), when you are sleeping and the sound keeps repeating until it wakes you up... Damn that sms

You can disable the sms sound in the melody menu 5.5.
The differences between F3 and G1 are that the F3 has smaller fonts and it has less languages.
If you want to upgrade from E5 to G1 don't do it it's not worth upgrading its the same.
