Verizon does not allow any application to be installed by the end-user. They restrict code/application execution to apps that have been coded and signed in their proprietary BREW language.
Bottom line? No 3rd party free apps/games.

I have also been wondering that. I was also wondering if that would work in reverse. I have an LG VX8300 and I was wondering if you somehow got a game on the memory card, what folder would it go under? I know videos go in "my_flixs and pictures in "my_pix" and music in "my_music" and sounds in "my_sounds"; but I don't know the rest. I've tried to put clips in a "my_ringtones" folder, but it will not work. I wonder if "my_games" would work. Also I have been wondering where I can find some emulation or possibly even trans-coding software to create home-brew games for the LG VX8300. I've seen a youtube video of someone who successfully got Twisted Metal 2(PC) to work on their cell-phone. I would like to know how to do that.

we talking bitPim here?
coz i never had trouble with bitpim, and you just put the audio clip into the ringer folder. Its easy.
As for games, i could really use some sort of help with this too.
