So I really wanted to buy a sidekick 3, and im in Canada. So I bought one, not a bad price either.however after purchasing it I did research(doh!)
This is not a post about unlocking the sidekick 3, I read enough of those posts already.
So anyways, is this impractical to purchase a pre-paid sim card, and just keep filling it up while using it in Canada. I cant seem to get very much information regarding international roaming, and data costs to a sidekick 3 on the pre-paid plans.
I do know that when people call me, it would be long distance for them as well. Would I be able to somehow manage to have t-mobile service, and have them bill me to my Canadian address? or is this not how their pre-pay works, am I pretty much SOL? Might as well put the sidekick 3 up on ebay?

Tmobile won't activate phones outside of their service area and canada is not in it. Sorry.

ya man.what the heck were you thinking? tmobile isnt in canada in the first place. if you did activate with tmobile you would be charged ginormous roaming charges while on the rogers network. youve unlocked your sidekick 3. so get a rogers sim. they have data plans and such. nowhere as good as US prices on US service. but there isnt nearly as much demand in canada for cell phone products. although the market is growing.
