can someone pls help? when i go into the profiles menu on my handset and then choose personalise from the drop menu i get a system errors message. anyone out there who can help?

hi, i bought the phone 2 days ago, the dealer inserted a 16mb memory card. except for that the rest is al standard.

There is no "standard" -
Type in *#0000# to check your firmware.
Type in *#7370#
This should completly reset your phone. Maybe after completly reseting the phone the problem will be solved.
[Everthing that is on the phone will be reset to that point as you bought it, ever picture, sound, sms, contacts, etc. which are stored on the phone will be erased!]

Well,
its not a firmware bug, that's for sure.
I have the same firmware version.
Have u told the dealer about it. Its just two days old.
Like James said,
Formatting the phone could be worth a try. But u'll lose all the info though.

no i havn't told the dealer, problem is he speaks no english and my chinese is about the same level, the manual is also in chinese so its not easy.

It seems u bought a waranty piece. So it wouldn't hurt to show it in a nokia professional care centre.

i tried *#7370# it asks me for a lock code, where can i find that? i cant see anything on any of the documents i received with the phone.

The lock code is 12345 by default.
It's mentioned in the manual.
