Hi,
I'm trying to connect my Razr to my PC in order to transfer files saved on the PHONE to the COMPUTER. When I first connect the razr to my PC, the PC automatically installed all drivers without asking me a thing. I open up MY COMPUTER and see the REMOVABLE DRIVE with folders in it such as MEDIA, RINGTONE, etc . but when I open these folders it does not display anything. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks in advance for any help,
Mathew

Nothing, just drag and drop the files into the respective folders.

But I am trying to get files FROM my PHONE to my COMPUTER. and its not showing me the files that are saved on my phone. All the folders are empty. I'm wanting to save my ringtones / wallpapers because my phones LCD screen broke and I want to be able to transfer them to my new phone when I get it. How can I do this?

Well, the files are probably stored on the phone not the card, use mobiledit to extract mobiledit.com

Hi,
Sorry for the new-b questions but I downloaded the ModilEdit software but when I try to connect to my phone, it doesn't seem to be finding it? I have a Ravr V3t from Tmobile . any help would be greatly appreciated.

The V3t isn't specifically listed as compatible by mobiledit but its just a t-mobile V3i so should work
Try following the connecting to p2k guide in tutorial section then try again
Also what setting do you have the USB connection on? Put it to data/modem

Why dont you just go to the directory on your phone that the files are stored (like Pictures) select the file you want to move to the card and then go to Menu, select Move and select Card. then you can access them via your computer (tip, if you want to select more than one file at a time highlight the file on your phone, then press 0 key, you will see a check mark. do this to all the files then move them all at once).
