Yes i know, so now we've come full circle if that didn't work then there's a problem with the driver . I believe he said he's not seeing the new device listed in my computer, so windows did not install the correct drivers for a mobile device . So i would uninstall everything restart the computer then hook the phone up and see if windows sees it . If not go to start, settings ,control panel and click add hardware and follow the prompts . By the way is that an OEM cable? Also once you do get it up and going you know about the bitrate limit of 192 and no more than 30 secs . One more thing if you like games this is the code to activate java install.
How to put games on your samsung
1st - Type in the code *#9998*52824678255#
A message will come up saying activated. Now you are ready to install your java games.
2nd - Download a program called jad maker, because in order to install your java games you need the .jar file and the .jad and most torrents only include the .jar
3rd - Find some compatible java games to download.
4th - Send the .jar and .jad file for the game to your phone, whether via bluetooth or usb cable. I prefer bluetooth, then you can also send them to your friends phones and exchange games.
5th - The files will most likely go to your other files folder. Open the .jad and it will install the game for you then ask if you would like to play it.
*Notes*
Each time you turn off your phone you need to re-enter the code.
Some games will simply not work on your phone.
If you would like you can reply with your phone model and list the games that work on that phone

Hi, I just got my Tmob Samsung T629 and have a few questions on using the MP3s on it.
1) Can I transfer MP3's from a computer directly to the PHONE(does NOT have a micro SD card)
using the USB data cable and the Samsung PC studio software ?
2) Can I transfer MP3's from a computer directly to the micro SD card inserted into the
phone using the USB data cable and the Samsung PC studio software ? Will the micro SD card show up on as a drive in 'my computers' ?
3) Is there any specific type of micro SD card that needs to be used ? Or I can get any micro SD card ? Upto what capacity of the micro SD card does this phone support ?
Am trying to find out which way to go - the data cable way or the SD card way.
Ps. help.
Thanks.

The answer to all of the above is "Yes", but with a few quirks.
You need to format the MicroSD card in the phone to have it set all the folders. Then, Windows will allow you to see the folders inside the card in the phone, and you just need to move them to the Music folder, else it won't work.

So, have you downloaded the newest drivers from Samsung's site? You might also make sure that the cable is plugged firmly into the phone and the computer.

Yes. Install it, but make sure you have the phone unhooked from the computer while you do it. It should prompt you to connect the phone at some point during the install, and then it should work. My email is in my profile if you're still having issues.
