Go into the menu, then Fun and Apps, My Files, scroll down to Memory Card, select it, then options, memory card info, then format.

I think mine just asked me to format the card the first time I tried to access it.but it's been a few months since I've done it.

When I do that it gives me a warning sign that says "Memory Card is in Use" I don't know what that means but it won't let me do anything else.

I'm having issues also with my data cable. I've tried downloading the software from the site and my computer wont install it. It is an older computer and we are operating on windows me. I'm interested in getting a blue tooth device and would like to know what device I should get and how easy it is to use? I'm really clueless about this kind of stuff.Tia

I haven't been here on this forum for sometime , anyway I went to bestbuy and bought the cheapest bluetooth dongle I could find . It's a Targus MBT-1203 . This after I got fed up with fighting with the USB cable ! As long as you have a USB input on your computer you can use it . Of course it helps when you have an input on the front which is pretty common today . Just install the software follow the directions and you should have no problems . Don't skip anything Windows asks to restart, do it . That's it good luck!

HELLO everyone. Ive read all the posts and I want to thank you for teaching me how to install games to my sgh t629 phone. But there is one problem, when i click on the .jad file to install the game it sais- "Java error. Invalid format".
I understood that this game doesnt work. But I want to know what java games DO work?
This is urgent.
If you can, please reply with a list of java games that could be installed to my sgh t629 phone.

I'm having the exact same problem as described earlier.

I've just bought a samsung SGH-U600 and currently running Vista Home Premium. The problem doesn't seem to be with the phone, instead with the software. I've installed it, and when I run it (even in "compatibility mode" for windows XP) it gives up the same error message: "COM server registration failed. Please restart the system". I thought this might just be vista being vista but seeing that Vipstar is using XP i'm now officially stumped.

If I press the OK button, it seems to refresh every 30 seconds or so (pop up another message box), for as long as I leave the program running.

Any help would be much appreciated, and if anyone knows how to make the U600 vibrate AND play a tone when it receives a text I'd be very interested - seems like I can only do one or the other.

Plug the cable in to the USB slot without the phone attached. Turn your phone off then plug it into the usb cable, wait about 5 secs, turn phone on. Windows should say it found new hardware and install the drivers.
