I've bought Samsung SGH-T629 USB cable on Amazon.com. I try to put a CD to that included in the package, but there's a message is showing that this sofware doesn't pass the Windows Logo Testing. Anyway, I chose "Continues anyway" and it has been succesfull install (But it's not the same thing as the instruction it has been show in the back of the box) By the way, I insert my USB cable to USB port and my T629, but there's no signal on the destop. It's kind of confusing. Is there someone who has used USB cable for T629 and know how to use, how to do.Plz show me

If you open My Computer (I assume you're using Windows), do you see a "removable disk" listed there when the phone is plugged into the USB data cable? Windows should assign it a drive letter.this will help us to see if it's the software or Windows that's not seeing your phone.

That's a problem. I insert my fone to the USB Cable and plug it to USB port but I haven't seen anything, even in My Computer.
When I installed a CD. It didn't the same thing with the instruction that show in the back but I've seen a message that it has been successful install.

Have you tried a different USB port, made sure that you're plugging the cable into the phone correctly, and that it's pushed in all the way? You should hear a noise when it gets plugged in, as Windows plays a little "ding" noise when it detects new hardware connected.

Yes i know i have a cable i have used it but it's not always reliable. so i bought a Bluetooth dongle and i find it so much easier . the only thing that's better about the cable is the ease of drag and drop , so for less than $20 it's worth it for your sanity. Also Windows should install the drivers automatically and you should probably not use the software from the disc download it from here.
