Specify the make of ur phone pleez.

Its a different method for a series 40 and a series 60 phone.

assuming u have a series 40 phone(n6610,6100, 7250 etc), goto display settings and switch off operator logo, to get the original logo back.

Dear All,

I have also downloaded a transparent logo blank.nol, I renamed it to blank.gif. I have tried to upload this to my 6610 using Nokia Graphics as well as Logomanager but both gave me an operator logo that is not transparent i.e. all the dots is being filled with white colour.

Thus I have this white colour rectangle as the operating logo.

If any members have successfully uploaded a transparent logo to 6610, could you kindly provide me with some assistance?

Thanks

You've proberly made a mistake by renaming it. Since that, it isn't transparent anymore.

If a gif hasn't any background, it will be filled by default with white. Only a special option within some picture editor make it really transparent.

Best you try it with the direct wap-link which is mentioned there, also the easiest way.

When u make an image as an oplogo, a copy of the image file is created in C:/system/apps/phone/oplogo.
The name of the image will be the code of ur operator(for e.g. 404.20.0 for orange, mumbai)

So use a file manager to go to that directory, and remove the file from it.

You will get a message saying, u r about to delete system files to which u click okay.
The file is deleted, and after a reboot of the phone, u will get the original carrier logo back.
