When u use SeleQ or any other file manager to change the oplogo, for the first time, it creates the necessary folder(seleq) or u have to create the folder manually.
After the process and a reboot of the phone, the oplogo is changed.
What i wanted to know is that, what happened to the previous oplogo(the original one).
Any1 knows where it is originally stored?? If it is stored at all.

You mean the name of you operator?
It's not really a logo, and I'm not sure, if it's within the SIM-Card or is in the carrier-signal of your provider (last could be possible, because AT&T overrides every logo by sending a signal via the carrier).
So no worry, it won't be overwritten.

Your original OP logo is always there being transmitted by the cellular provider on the air as a NNG file ( developed by Nokia )
Certain sets have the capability ( now almost all sets have this capability except for some really baba adam zamaney ka set) to over ride the signal being transmitted by your provider and replace it by your own design or preference....
Try this, make anthing your op logo by putting a file in c:\system\apps\phone\oplogo
reboot your phone- u now have a new oplogo.... delete this file now... what happen? does your oplogo go away... it is still there! It remains there till the time you reboot again at which time your provider logo appears.
Also we all know the service provider transmits its logo in .nng format to our phones with the carrier signal- I searched CDE & Z drive of my phone for a .nng file- but could not find one- meaning ony onething- your service provider transmitted files are not stored anywhere on your phone. And what your own designed (or oterwise) logo does is to replace the transmitted logo by te service provider with your own.... for if this was not the case- why does your own logo dissapear when u go out of nework area???

It's also a "security" option... changing the network without notice could be very expensive, expecially when you life nearby any borders.
I've once visited a friend near the border to Swiss, I hopped many times in some Swiss networks but I was still in Germany.
So if I never knew that and I make a call, it could have been expensive.

Hi all,
I've been searching Internet to find out a solution to the alternating "Operator's Name"/"Line 1" logos on my Nokia 6600 (I am using a dual sim card and each line is identified as Line1 and Line2). I don't want anybody to know that I have a second line.
Does anybody have an idea, how can I override this "Line1" logo?
Thanks in advance.
