Does anyone know if cingular will be offering the K3 when it is released shortly? It says here at mobiledia that it is "international." What does that mean? I want to know if I will be able to use it with cingular service. Thanks

i beleive it is slated to be release intl, first, if you buy it at try to use it w/ cing and it DOES NOT have teh 850 ban you gonna be up a creek w/o a paddle, also when buying non cing phones you get no warenty , and most likly no data as well, i would do alot of research on this b4 commiting if i was you

Thats right, the web can be setup but you'll only be using a portion of the Cingular network, take a look at their gophone map and thats about the coverage you get with only the 1900 band. better yet take a look at GSMWorld.com and see the 1900 map

This comes from the specs:
Network: GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 / UMTS 2100

Does this mean it will work with cingular?

Thanks. Now I wonder how long it will take for cingular to pick it up. I don't want to get it unlocked because I want the warranty and insurance for it. This makes me think however, does cingular give warranty and insurance for these higher end phones? If not, then I guess its probably better to get it unlocked without all the brand stuff.
