My image space is full. Is it possible to download or email images to my desktop to free up space yet save the pics?

Sure - use MPT or mobiledit (www.mobiledit.com) or a p2k program (a little more work)

Couldn't find Motorola V220 in the list. Can you advise correct version of Mobiledit?

just google for p2k tools and p2k drivers. you will need a mini usb cable to do this. (they usually work with digital cameras).
there are a bunch of post that tells you how to use that program. but its really easy.

Mobiledit does support V220 - its in the Motorola supported models list
