I would have been (and was) on the phone until things got fixed.
like a dog and her bone I went at it
It was unfortunate
but I did get results after the MEGA exhausting repetition you describe and I experienced. I.too pictured calling CNN and 60 minutes!
Fortunately they fixed it as my blood pressure was rising , I lost sleep and missed work.
I mean who has an extra $723 (except verizon execs?)
So , I have pure compassion for you.after all that the only compensation I was able to get was either $100 credit towards my next bill OR $100 towards a new phone that I actually needed .naturally when the phone came they insisted om a 2 year contract. I never felt compensated or at all comforted by their expensive ,degrading system that made me prove MYSELF without checking for their mistakes first.
Naturally this is America , so I thought I was innocent until proven guilty.apparently not in business.and so that money MUST be back in your account immediately.please charge them interest.as they would you, for the time you were missing funds as well as all the late charges you incurred due to their errors. If you want back up for 60 minutes
write me. Let's go on this.Imagine how many others run into this stuff?
As far as the reps go.
well.they have been brainwashed by verizon.they believe the story and are programed to believe it's ok for someone to agree to something they really don't want or need.it sells more phones.and if someone gets their whole bank account knocked out by accident
oh well
it's only an accident and it only happens because of a COMPUTER ERROR.or the PROGRAM WASN'T POLISHED like it is now
the truth is
these employees are plain 'ole going to work
they have screaming kids and nagging wives and they just answer pones ALL DAY LONG and say yes alot
ONLY TALK TO THE HEAD OF DEPARTMENTS
get their names ,#S, Xtens
mothers name and first borns name
get thir adress adn bank account #
tell them.youre' serious and it's today pass me to someone who can put the money in RIGHT NOW
AND
if they can take money out RIGHT NOW
they can put it back RIGHT NOW
RIGHT NOW!
gee

ImEnVerizon,

Thank you for your offer.

I'm making one last attempt to correct this through the current manager handling my problem. She is looking into the 10 day hold.

I have already faxed my statement showing the monies coming out of my account, and have also supplied Verizon with my routing number, account number, bank name, and the date the monies were taken. This was done last week.

Are you able to send me your contact information in case this falls apart?

That's it!
I can't take this anymore!
I've just spent 25 minutes on the phone trying to fix yet another overcharge for In-calling minutes. They didn't fix the problem the first time around!
And now I'm told it will take 2 - 3 billing cycles to refund my money.
Are you F'n kidding me!?
I was refused access to a manager, I was literally blamed for this problem because I kept calling back and spoke to a different rep every time.

KILL ME NOW!
Put me out of my Frickin' misery!

The reason I kept calling back was due to the string of incompetent reps I've dealt with every step of the way!
The reason I spoke to a different rep was because Verizon refuses to give it's customers a call-back number or incident number!

I literally need a CPA to figure out the cluster-you-know-what of a bill.

Nice job Verizon.

we cannot let go of being robbed by mega companies ike verizon.

speak softly and say "I have a terrible problem and need to be transferred to the highest manager"
repeat "I can only speak to top managers"
give no other info
tell no other story again
never speak to anyone wihtout power
insist on the phone #s of at least 2 higher ups
save your breath for their ears
insist that it is recorded and chronicled and that you have begun charging them for lost work and will certainly expect them to pay for damages(bank fees for overdrawn surcharges)
I'm off to work

Just got off the phone with Verizon Corporate office.
They're forwarding my complaint to Verizon Wireless Corporate.
They should get back to me in 1 - 2 business days.
I will update this with what I'm hoping to be good news.

I HAVE A HUGE PROBLE I BOUGHT A MOTO Q AND WAS NOT TOLD THAT IF I SYNC IT TO MY COMPUTER AND USE MY INTERNETS COMPUTER I WOULD BE CHARGED FOR DATA. EVEN THOUGH IM USING MY COMPUTERS INTERNET. I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH THIS FOR 3 WEEKS THEY SENT ME A BILL FOR $7,035.49 THEY TOLD ME FIRST THEY WOULD SETTLE FOR $3500 THEN GOT SOME OTHER PERSON THEY SAI $1000 BUT THEY DONT UNDERSTAND FOR SOME REASON THAT I SHOULD NOT BE CHARGED AT ALL. IM IN MARYLAND AND I DONT KNOW WHO TO TALK TO

After speaking with a customer complaint rep from corporate, my money is now back where it belongs!
However, somebody has it out for me at Verizon.
Two days later, my service was shut off.
The corporate customer rep was able to get it back on in minutes.
He did a great job.

I'm keeping an eye out for any strange cars in front of my house.
No telling what they'll do next.
