hi,

i am using moto L71, this is the chinese version on L7i in US. i really hate all the pics and audios the phone carry with when i bought it, and i tried all my effect to remove them, but failed.

when i set my 'Default Connection' mode to 'Data Connection', it seems no P2K appz works with my phone, only MPT works, but MPT will not help me remove those files.

when i set my 'Default Connection' mode to 'Memory Card', i cant see anything on my phone's internal memory. actually, if i remove my TF card, and plug my phone back, my PC say 'please insert disk in driver J:', this means the system cant find the memory on phone at all.

and i am new to cell phone moding, i hope some one would help me.

Thanks!

p2kman, error msg: time out
MPT, using the '0 byte' method, operation forbidden
PTS, may connect, but no operation works.

i think my phone is China-Mobile OEM-ed, and they almost locked everything.so they can earn more RMB from me, damn it

of course, i can use MPT, and get the contacts

finally, i removed all the pics, audios, videos that is carried with the phone, using the 'Overwrite Method', i named it myself, haha
the phone seems cant detect if you're trying to use the '0 byte' method to hack the sys. so if you make 0-byte file and copy it direct to the folder, you'll get an error message saying something like 'operation forbidden', so the size of the file MUST over zero. 2ndly, if you're try to copy a audio file to the audio folder on the phone, with the name that is the same as the file you want to remove, the operation is also forbidden, but if you try to move it to another folder, say video folder, it works. and you'll be amused that the audio files did not copied to the video folder, but to the audio folder. now you can remove those damn files.

but still, i cant access my phone's memory directly, could you help? thx

PS: if you removed all ringtones which ext. is '.imy', there name will be replaced as 'Default' in you detail page of ring style setting, power cycle you phone, and everything all right!

You could try flashing a newer flash and see if that helps

i asked a lot users of moto L71 in China, they say that the delay is normal, and it's the feature of L71.
