hi,
as the title suggests, my Moto v300 got a bit wet in my non-waterproof backpack pocket and ever since has been giving me these two major problems:
1) the color display blinks out once I open it and the "face" display becomes active as if the phone were closed and they sort of alternate and eventually settle. The phone behaves this way usually after long periods of disuse (5 hours) and it becomes problematic when after those 5 hours, I get a call and the phone starts spazzing out, so to speak, hanging up on the person as it does this.
2) The camera gives me the message "Busy. Try again." Interestingly enough, it is through looking up this error message on google that I stumbled upon this site so I tried the following solutions:
a) leaving out the battery for >1 minute
b) master reset
c) unlocking the camera (it wasn't unlocked to begin with)
The phone is still usable and I'd hate to chuck it since it gives way better reception than the Samsung that I have lying around. This is a good phone, only if it weren't for these two major setbacks and as tempted as someone may be to recommend me to just drop down money elsewhere, I feel that this forum is true to the spirit of salvaging what you have and will provide the aid that reflects this. Thanks so much for having this forum to begin with and for reading this far.

The only suggestion I can make is to strip the phone and give all the contacts a good clean with rubbing alcohol

Thanks for the reply. I was wondering if there are any instructions online on taking apart the v300 since I couldn't find it in the repair FAQ. Thanks.
