it did not go well. After the flash, the phone goes to voice recording. Pressing any key would activate voice recording. Tried another flash file, but same results. It would ring for incoming calls but would not answer. Any solution

Its a problem with the keypad membrane, this also fots with the original problem, you need a new one

is there a solution -this problem was not there before flash. Do you suspect this still could be software related?
What do I need new - the phone?

No - the point of the flash was to eliminate software. And as I said a bad keypad would also explain the original problem (unable to enter code). You need a new keypad membrane

You would need to get a new keypad membrane from ebay or www.cnn.cn or similar. Strip the phone then fit it - its not that difficult. See http://ajay16guides.blogspot.com/

try this code 00010438. i also tried to RDL lite, my phone is dead at the "BOOT LOADER" screen. any suggestion. I don't have backup.
