my husband bought service with verizon wireless only because his boss has it. he returned the equipment under 14 days. he paid cash for the equipment and they told him you will get a check back in 3-5 business days. yea right! i emailed the president Denny Strigl about this and received a call back from one of his associates. She told me she would look into it and get back to me. by the time she had contacted me it had been a month and a half. Finally last week the check arrived after waiting 2 1/2 months for it. the check was returned for insufficient funds! can you believe that! a supposed multi billion dollar company has no funds in their account. now i got screwed out of this money plus the bank hit me for fees bc the check they gave me bounced!
any suggestions on what to do?

Bummer, mistakes happen. If you managed to contact Denny Strigl about this then try to send another email to the current lead of this wireless carrier. Next time it'd be easier to wait the 3-5 days for a check. Many companies/stores have return methods that take longer than that.

i did wait the 3-5 business days. they didn't bother to send a check until 2 1/2 months later. so trust me i tried waiting

Apologies for the assumption. Perhaps it's just one of those exceptional cases. 59M customers, there's bound to be an error here and there. I would say try to speak with a mgr and see if they can offer anything for compensation. Best of luck
