This is the way I get my music onto my memory card.

1. Format card in Phone, by going to Settings & Tools menu, option 8, Memory, Option 3, Card Memory, select options, with the right soft key, select 1, Format card, when that is done transfer the card to your card reader on your pc.

2. Open windows explorer, it should recognize your card reader as a drive. When you open that drive, it will show your card directory.

3. In windows explorer open the folder on your pc where your music files are located, right click on one of the music files and from that menu select "open with", select Windows Media Player, all your mp3 files will change to Windows Media files. No need to go through and convert them.

4. Then I just select the songs I want, if you hold down the control key while selecting songs, you can choose the ones you want. While they are highlighted, right click and drag to your card to the my_music folder, from that menu select "copy here", all your music will be copied to your card and the original music files will stay on your pc. I have copied 90 songs at once with no problem.

I have also used this same procedure to copy pictures and video.

I changed the settings on my phone to save to the memory card automatically. The steps to do this are: Go to settings & tools, option 8, Memory, option 1, save options, select from PIX, Flix or Sounds, Then select card memory, select OK.

I use MIDI files for my ringtones, I have found tons of free MIDI files online. I use Bitpim and data cable to transfer the MIDI files from my computer to my phone. You can copy them directly to the ringtones folder.

I couldn't unlock the memory card either until I found someone else's posting someplace -- try your last four digits of your phone number. Worked for me.
