You should not have had any Problem getting a monitary Credit for that overage if it was a T-Mobile error. As far as dropped call go have you tested another phone?? called tmobile to troubleshoot?? The V66 is prob up there with the V300 for T-Mobile problem phones, or so i have heard.
Tmobile was not sure if it was their error. Troubleshooting has been done on the phone. No help. According to Tmobile I am in a FANTASTIC coverage area and there is not too much more that they can do for me. The text messages are delayed ( I was told) because Tmobile and Nextel don't get along... well neither does Tmobile and Cingular or AT&T obviously because I couldnt get thru to users of those companies either. I'm Just counting down the months till the contract us up and I can go with another service. But thanks for the reply.

what concerns me also is the price of the handset.... you definitely should not have had to pay that much for the v66.... if i may make a humble suggestion... perhaps try to see if the retailer/dealer where the transaction was made will work with you on this at all (i.e. - if not a partial refund, at least an accessory package or SOMETHING) i'm really sorry that all of this is happening to you

Good suggestions Wayne, yeah he is right the V66 is pretty outdated compared to phones such as the Samsung E315 that you can get for free now if you are a new activation.... I would see what the dealer can do for yeah, other then that I wish I could help you out with your service. I hope you have better luck with another service provider.

I purchased the phone on line. I had contacted Tmobile when I noticed less then 7 days later that it was free and requested an up grade on it seeing as how it was not that old. They offered for me to send it back in, pick the phone and pay the additional cost on whatever I wanted. But seeing as how I am a nurse and on call I needed to keep something with me at all times so sending the phone back and waiting an additional 5 to 10 days was not an option for me. They did however send me a $50.00 rebate form in the mail that I filled out and sent in a few weeks later. The phone itself doesn’t really bother me because I talk to a cluster of Tmobile users with phones that cost close to $300.00 and still have the same problems that I have been experiencing so I have a feeling that it all boils down to bad service. But thanks for the reply.

From what I have read in this thread I feel very fortunate dealing with customer care. But then I have been with T-Mobile since 98 and I really think ther customer service sucks. If that are rated #1 Id hate to deal with antone else. I bought 4 phones this past year. I got a 715 last Jan total price $99. The 6600 early summer $105, late fall the d415 $135 and for Christmas I got the 735 $199.
I found to get these prices I have to make a few calls... Ok maybe alot of repetive calls and alot of time. Some reps, how can I say this politly, SUCK and others are ok. Then you alway find that one diamond jewel who some how knows how to get around their system.

gluketich,
Ask for me next time, I'll help you out! Kindness goes a long, long, long way in how you get treated! Also length of service and a few other things get factored in as well! Chronic complainer's wanting credits every month are a different story.... (and I am quite sure all reps may not be the friendliest!) Have a good one!
