I do not have any other options besides 'Bluetooth' and 'Sync'. Is this phone even compatible with USB transfers?

Try the Sync option, that is to "Syncronize" your phone with the computer.

I would definately follow up on the claim with PayPal/Ebay it sounds like you got screwed over by the seller. In fact after looking over the ad if it didn't have the shipping plastic on the LCD's and is scuffed that should be enough. The product was definately not as described.

Good Luck and Happy Modding!

I have to wait one more day before I can file a claim for that. in the meantime, my screen has been working all day for some reason, the phone hasn't shutoff at all. interesting. anyways, i'm not quite sure how to get to this setting. under connectivity, it has bluetooth and sync. my computer doesnt have the correct hardware for bluetooth, so that leaves me with sync. in the sync options, it has fields for:

Name:
URL:
User name:
Password:
Data paths -> Phonebook\Datebook

Not quite sure what I have to enter into these, as i'm pretty sure you would need internet access for this to work, which I don't have. Are there any Razr's that just do not work with USB?

None that I am aware of . I am begining to wonder if this wasn't flashed with a wrong MP and then kicked back into the "for sale" box.

The V3 doesn't have a memory card and hence the USB port is always in data/fax mode.

Check the connecting to p2k programs guide in the tutorial section

ok, did the p2k tutorial (http://forums.mobiledia.com/topic48216.html) installed all of the drivers, and everything that it said. I got to the part where it says to connect the phone, and it just doesn't recognize as anything is attached to the computer. no balloons popup, no 'add hardware' popups come up, nothing. yesterday i was using the phone almost all day with no problems, the screen was staying on. but now, the screen is off, and I can't get it back on. I got to wait one more day to file this claim. =X

My RAZR is working fine but NOW my computer doesn't see it. I plugged it in once and i tried uploading a song but it froze so I closed it and then I tried to plug it in many other times now it doesnt see mine. All I have is "Bluetooth Link". When I plug it in, I can hear it make a sound but nothing pops up. Anything I can do?

Yes under connectivity, you want to be set to Fax/Data/USB instead of Bluetooth for the default. That should get the two of them talking to each other.

Once you sign on to your PayPal Account there should be a button that says Resolution Center at the top of the screen. Click that and follow the instructions given. I have had to use this feature a few times and PayPal will follow through. You can also work with Ebay and file the same kind of Claim and let the Ebay community know that the seller is shady and doesn't provide what is shown in the auction.
