I have an LG enV, not sure if it has another name. I downloaded songs using the music essentials kit onto a 1GB mini SD and they did play at first.
Now, my phone no longer recognizes the disk or any songs. It says there's no available memory or memory at all on the disk either (0 KB).
Is something wrong with the disk-the media player doesn't recognize it either.
It doesn't seem like Verizon would be of much help either.
Any ideas?

I've re-inserted it several times. I've turned the phone off and on again too. I'm at a loss-I don't want to buy another card!

I would try formatting the card while it's in the phone. Then try to resync the songs.

How do I format the disk while it's in the phone? I do not own a disk reader.

I tried to format with my phone, but it asked for a "lock code", which I do not know. Is there a way to unlock the disk manually, or a default code?

Try the last four digits of the mobile phone number.
