I leave my Phone on 24/7. If it needs to be quite, I put it on silent/vibrate mode.

All the time, but always in silent mode. There is nothing I hate more than hearing someone elses phone ringing in a public place.

just like a pacemaker, cant turn it off....
turns off itself, considering the battery life....
silent mode when in appropriate places, but nonetheless still on...

this question sounds really weird to me. i just can't imagine switching my phone off more frequent [sp?] than when i need to change it's sim card. i just set it to vibrate when i'm in cinema/church/etc.

I leave mine on at all times. If I don't want any calls I just set my settings to not accept calls from anyone..

i rarely turn my phones off on purpose. i just do this when i board planes. usually they just turn themselves off when they run out of batteries (which rarely happens)...
