I'm just wondering if you guys leave your phone on when you were expecting calls, or just talking, or all the time.

All the time! I hardly ever turn it off. Unless it crashes.

I also keep my phone on 24/7. Whether I get calls on my T68i is another story...

I keep my phone on all the time too, but whether or not I pick it up is another issue. I make it a point not to answer phone calls in quiet places as it annoys me when others do it.
Good thing for different ring tones for contacts!

I leave my phone on all the time unless the battery runs dead (d'oh) and I have it plugged in to the charger whenever I'm home.
I have it on vibrate, which makes little noise when in my pocket and a lot of noise if I put it on a chair or wooden table (handy for when I'm at home). Unfortunately I haven't figured out a way to turn off the sound my phone makes when I get a voicemail message, which defeats the purpose of having it on vibrate

I concur with the rest of you... my phone is open all the time unless the battery runs dead... I think that turning it off would defeat the purpose of owning a cellphone...although there are certain courtesy to follow as respect to others.
Bushy Turtle: (just asking)
if you have many contacts and you are using different ringing tones for them how do you keep track of which ringtone is for this person?
Find it too hard.... but good for you!
