This company is an absolute disgrace to work for. They recently were nice to invite me to transfer to a call center 3000 miles away to work on the Laptop Team. Of course I am all excited driving across the country to begin working in Washington State.
Less than a week after I arrive I get a message from my manager that they are re structuring the department and I am being moved to ANS instead.
I let them know that I am very displeased and upset about this after moving so far. The answer I got was tough, I have no choice.

I love Cingular.
Yeah some of the policies can be extreme, but been working for quite some time and I'm happy.
I could go work for Sprint, but they would treat me pretty bad

I used to love the company until I moved across the country to do ajob only to be put somehwere else within the first week.
The good news is my lawyer will be able to recover my moving costs for me along with some damages for the stress and trouble.

Just quit there. Worst place ive ever worked in terms of managment, support and customers. I hope Cingular is better.

The union.
Comminication Workes of America.
I was reading my union newsletter, and yes it may be propeganda, but in it, it states that some verizon call centers oppose the union and they actually fired employees for trying to bring it in.
I am pro-Union, so any place that is against it is not good in my bag.
