Ok, so you're watching TV and you're apt to see one of the Cingular commercials talking about AT&T. They act all excited about it and like that major changes are coming. You even see it on their website, too! I went on the Cing/AttWlss website to see if there was any information about how this affects the customers. Nothing that I could find. I was just interested. Like, is there going to be any really big effects with our service? And, if anyone knows, when will they fully merge, e.g. the bill starts saying AT&T and the Alphas on the Phones start to say AT&T Wireless. Just curious to know if any of these changes are going to happen and if they are going to happen soon. Any knowledge would be greatly appreciated!

There should be no drastic changes to you service, the only real differeance iis the name change. Acctualy no ownership has changed , cingular was alsays owned ny sbc and bell south now ATT making it the "new" at&t

Sim cards will be getting paint jobs and phones will eventually say ATT. That's pretty much it.

Yep, also the Phones and Alpha tags will Say AT&T not att wireless, "As so to not confuse customers with the Old ATT wireless"

i live in sandiego california and cingular now has the 3g network, and i have a motorola razr v6 maxx and video calling works down here,the stores sell some handsets with this feature only in certain areas its something new cingular is doing this,,, this is a test in certain areas and states to see how it will fair with the network but is doing very well here so far. but most video calling phones are the razr v3xx and the razr v6 maxx and the old v3x and are all unlocked but do the MEdia Net settings and mms settings and your good to go!but cingular will have the video calling feature and handsets in most areas by this fall 2007 near october?i was told but it works down here, the only catch is the other caller has to have a video calling handset, and the ones i listed are fairly prices on ebay and also have 2.0megapixal camera and come with cd and usb cables to down load mp3 songs from your music lists and comes with i 1gb memery card also! SO HANG TIGHT CINGULAR HAS CHANGED IN CERTAIN AREAS TO TEST THIS FEATURE! and will be in most this fall and also 3g handsets to choose from in all stores, some stores have the like some samsung and lg .
