I have the Motorola v551 model. My contract with Cingular expired in February and since the phone started breaking down (the receiver volume became almost inaudibly low at times), I decided to switch to TMobile.
Upon activating with TMobile and transferring my number over, my Cingular service was terminated before I had a chance to upload the videos on my phone to my PC.
My question is, do I need active Cingular service in order to use the Mobile Phone Tools to transfer files to my PC? I want to know before I buy the accessories I need.
Thanks!
