Hi, I found your lovely site doing a google search
basically, I've had sprint evdo for about a year now and need to get a hold of customer support. Right now, it's 1:21 AM (i'm a nigh owl ) and really need to speak with a rep. Is there a 24hr number you guys can share? I looked at the list in the sticky but its to no avail.
Thanks and best regards.

Apparently, Sprint no longer has a 24 hour customer service line. Pretty pathetic, if you ask me.

Sprint does not currently have representatives to speak to 24hours a day. As for the pathetic remark . . . you can pay for the salary of one tech who will not be all that busy. Probably run you in the neighborhood of 15000 a year or more, not counting benefits. Now add an entire staff of not very busy call reps. It get's expensive fast, and while this is annoying, that is all it is. Try getting your car fixed on a Sunday, or late in the evening. A car is way more important then a phone generally speaking. How about banks, don't know of very many banks that are open 24/7 but I can think of a time when I needed to talk to somebody on a Sunday before. Try to remember that a business is run to make money, not cater to every single desire of it's customers.

McGirk, you are an idiot.! The thing is, it is pretty much UNHEARD of for companies not to have 24 hr service. Tmobile does, Verizon, Cingular, etc. So for sprint not to, is a lunatic decision! This can be important like when you lose your phone and you have vital info on it.so just wanted to say how salesman like for you to put up that argument and I am betting you work with Sprint
Sprint honestly doesn't need 24hr support. Wanna know why? I've had sprint maybe 3 years now? Wanna know how many times I've called them for trouble with my phone? Maybe twice. Twice in 3 years. That's not bad in my book. T MO and them NEED good cuz thier service blows. So when you call all pissed off, they need to know how to calm your irate self down lol.

Idiot? That is interesting, you throw around a lot of insults to back up your small-minded view of how things are supposed to work. In fact, it seems as if you didn't actually read and 'think' about what I typed. People lose their phone all the time. Can you tell me what Verizon or AT&T does about the information that is in a strangers hands? I can tell you there is little that they can do, if you phone isn't locked with a password then anyone can get into it and get the information. What's more is, a smart person can even get your home address and more from locations using your esn and phone number, or sim and phone number, based on which company they're dealing with. Once again, I ask, what is Verizon or AT&T going to do about that personal information? That seems to be the basis of your argument. I've called AT&T (as Cingular) and they would've given me all kinds of information about the customer who lost their phone if the screen wasn't smashed up, all I needed was their phone number. Now that was me, trying to get a customer back their phone. If it was someone more sinister other bad things may have followed. Oh and for the customer service that was so good, they told me that it didn't matter to them that their customer had lost their phone, or the sim card with all of their contacts in it. Nice job AT&T. And for the record I don't work for Sprint Nextel, and I don't look for excuses, but I do look past my own desires to maybe see why I'm not getting the best, in my opinion, customer service. Stop and think for a moment, and you may realize that you aren't the only person out there.

Well Alltel has by far the worse customer service hours not open late at all, anything past like 7 or 8 at night good luck. The way companies can get around be 24 hrs for those drunks that lose their phones they can use the automated sytem, as well as tmobile tech is open 24 hours a day otherwise you can reach a cust care rep most of the time there is like3 to 4 hours where cust care is closed

Sprint does not have a 24hr costumer care, i but i have been on the phone at around 1AM i believe with a tech support rep, which i think do take calls 24 hrs. they could help self your issue probably just as good or better than a CSR.
so although CSR may not be operating 24hrs/day, tech support reps may.
