I have a Motorola Razr V3. I have set up a websession with the settings below, but I'm having a weird problem. The phone will connect to the homepage (http://device.home), but it only displays text and only what you see in the thumbnail below.
I have enabled Images & Sounds in the browser setup menu of the phone.
I called up Cingular support a couple of times. The first time, a CSR offered to send the settings to the phone, but that apparently didn't go through. The second time, I was told that I'd have to contact Motorola to have the settings installed through them.

Depends on what website you go to.
Most sites on your cell won't show pictures.
Believe it or not, using another program for web browsing would be the best thing.

When I use Opera Mini, everything works fine, so I suspect a problem with my settings or the browser itself (I have flashed the phone to the latest firmware.).
Its not a big deal to me, but I would like the ability to download/buy programs or games from Cingular's website onto my phone. I don't know if that is possible without using the phone's built-in browser (I am assuming that this would tie-in my phone number & account to any Cingular transactions). No biggie, but it would be nice to know why this isn't working.
Peace,
Jacob M.

I was going to mention opera, but I get flak everytime I do, even though it is 100000% better than the browser on moto phones.

Opera Mini is an excellent program - I don't know why folks would have a problem with it (though I'm sure someone will fill in the gap at this point and enlighten me!).
I guess the question now is if I can purchase - through Cingular - games & whatnot through Opera Mini. I don't often do that sort of thing (almost never, in fact), but I like to have the option. Have you - or anybody - been able to do this?
Otherwise, thanks for taking the time to help me out!
