The chocolate phones take some getting used to. They have touch sensitive buttons on the outside, which people accidentally press a lot (against face while on call, in pocket against something.). And the enV phone is a great package that goes unappreciated. Good camera, lens cover, full keyboard (that isn't too small, as some people said about the U740), mp3 capable, wireless sync email if desired. I recommend fully utilizing your test period with the chocolate phone if you get it, otherwise the enV should be a good bet. It also has a 19 day stand-by time. The only downfall I really see to the phone is it's size, which it makes up for with capabilities.

I have the Lg Cherry Chocolate and I love it. It does take sometime getting used to it and there are touch keys on the front but you cant "accidently" hit them because you can only use them if the phone is open

I would go with the LG enV. Its a nice stable phone that wont break alot. My wife has one and I have the older model of the LG vx9800.
I find these phones to be best ive seen so far.

My friend has the Verizon enV, and I have the Chocolate. The Chocolate is a nice phone, as in sleek and awesome design. But it does take a while to get used to. Also, all the number keys are not separated, so it is difficult to text sometimes.
If you like texting that much, definitely go with the enV. Verizon doesn't have all the cool texting phones that other carriers have, but enV is pretty much up to par with the others. It might just be me, but when it's cosed, it looks like a really old phone. XD
So, if you like texting, choose the enV. Plus it has other great features. The Chocolate is more of a style thing. it's a little laggy sometimes. I'm started to wish I never switched to Verizon. > <

I have the original Black Chocolate, and its pretty sweet, takes a little getting used to, but after that, its good. the only downfall if the battery life, with music and txt and talk, about 2.5 days and its dead, other than that, solid calls, holds onto EV-DO like its going to die of it drops the connection, which is a plus.

If you dont mind having a big phone go with the EnV but it's really big. The Chocolate has really bad speakers and no full keyboard, but it does look good. I own the U-740 currently and love it. It has great speakers and a full keyboard.
