Is there a phone that supports this? My phone does not and t-mobile says they can't put a block on text messages. thanks!

the reason why is because they send you settings for different things and. notifications. but all you do is go into your text messages and then just change your number that your phone connects to to get the messages.

to date because text messages arrive to the handset like voice messages you cannot block them, it's very important to give your cell number out with discretion as there is no way to block un-wanted calls nor messages, people that change thrie numbers tend to forget that they may hae set up alerts to that phone number and never remove it, that's the downside of having a cell phone it is not like the landline phone each has it's plus & minuses

I've always been under the impression that call blocking isn't an option on tmobile. I know there are filters that can be set up, but I didn't think that was being considered a "block."

blocking is not service provider specific with t-mobile (for most - there is a filter online) its phone specific. Try calling the maker of your phone. They all have customer service, its just no one ever thinks to call them for support.

How do you set up filters that allow you to block a number?
