I really hope someone can help with this.
I had set up call barring on my D900 some time ago. I wanted to cancel the call barr and entered what I thought was the password. Unfortunately after three attempts, the phone came back with "Password Attempts Excess!". I have contacted both my mobile operator O2 and Samsung. Samsung say the only way to reset this is to return the phone for a software reset. The default password for call barring on O2 is 0000.
The phone works in every other respect. I just have a call barr on incoming calls while abroad which I can''t now remove!
Does anyone know of a way round this? Is there a way to reset the password manually? Is there a way to reset the software myself without sending the phone away?
Many Thanks.

you could flash it (do software update yourself) , but it voids your warranty, and can brick your phone. Its been ages since i flashed a ole samsung ( v200 days) , so i wouldnt know how to do it now, try taking a read through the flashing forum and see if maybe someone more experienced with samsung flashing could help you

Thanks for the reply. I thought that would probably be the only way to solve the problem. I just hoped someone might know a quick solution or trick to avoid flashing .
