When i try to connect my Nokia N80 to my computer with Windows Vista I get this message:
“port_#0002,hub_#0001 connected in non-compatible mode”
How do I get this problem solved?

That means it is set to card reader mode.

It seems your phone is set to that mode in the settings of the phone as default. Check the settings and your manual for the right steps.

Thanks for the reply!
Now the error message has changed: port_#0003.hub_#0001 connected in non-compatible mode
Where can I find a way to turn off card reader mode? I can't see to find it in the manual!
I have tried to use a virtual machine to get the pc to talk to my phone. but no luck!

Yeah, I know, it's quite hard to see the word "Connectivity" in manuals index.

Quote:
Press Menu, and select Connect. > Data cbl.. In Data cable mode, select what the USB data cable connection is used for: Media player, PC Suite, Data transfer or Image print. To have the device ask the purpose of the connection each time the cable is connected, select Ask on connection.

That I have checked, one of the first things that I looked at, I thought that you were talking about something other then the one thing that is the first thing on the checklist…. icon_blink.gif icon_w00t.gif
