Hi, I own a w810 and was told by a friend that I can use the phone without the SIM, but I needed to insert a code, does anyone here know if that's true and if so, can you let me know that?
I know that it sounds possible, but I wanted to confirm this and try it.

im not to au fait with thw w810, if it has a flight mode then you will be able to use it for all functions bar calling and texting, if not then i know of no other way that it could be used like that

where can I set that "flight mode"? or is it a service oriented feature?
What I basically want to know is if I can use the basic applications and phone features without the SIM.

flight mode is usually asked when the phone is turned on, then you have the option of selecting it, if its not there have a look under settings, then the general tab, if its not there then im afraid your phone doesnt have it.
