SE phones lately have been a hit in the market for there features and seamless connectivity.models like P800,T610,T310 etc have brought the company back into profits...but the finnish giant is still NO 1 ..delivering phones that are a great companion for a long time.
what can SE do to become world NO 1 and beat the crap out of nokia? or will nokia still connect to the people ?
SUGGESTIONS AND TIPS NEEDED !
regards,
adi911 ( nokia + SE lover )

The majority of people choose Jokias only because they're used to them, not because they are uncomparably better... It will be extremely difficult to change habits of those people =/
Anyway, Vodka connecting people

Suggestons and tips??? Is this that big of a crisis? SE is already among the first. Then what can the poor Sagem fans say? When will sagem be first (in the next one hundred years )??? It isn't about which of our favorite's the first, it's about if their phones are good from your perspective. And whoever buys a Blokia (definetly not an upper end of corz, however, those consumers are in absolute minority at Nokia), simply needz no quality, just a phone with good reception (and that's what the person gets, coz SE phones really do suck in reception sometimes). So, if SE wants to do something about this, then they could make some less extravagant models, and put one hell of an advert around it, so that even simple Blokia people start buying it. I'm not saying that Nokia makes cheaper fonez than others (it actually makes phones 130 % the prize of all others with same features), I'm saying that by the time those phones get a year old, their price is more than optimal for a person who simply wants to be "connected" by Nokia ( ). Examples for such Nokia models are the 3310 (yeah, no joke, 4 of my classmates still have that, and they're mostly happy with it (they know what's good for them (probably))) and the 3410. You can get a 3410 from an SP (here in Hungary) for 8000 Ft (31.1464 Euro) only. ANd then that person already has Java games, WAP etc. which perfectly fits (or is extravagant even for that person (let's point out that my Blokia classmates' 70 percent dunno what's WAP (then they probably use it often ))) consumers' needs.

Technically YEP ... SE is in the TOP, there is NO phone in nokia that can atleast come closer to the great king phone P900. And guys ... think about this, SE released the great phone P800 about an year ago ... during this one year period ... damn big Nokia was unable to make a competetive model.
One more thing, as you all know, still the worlds biggest mobile telecommunication giant is Ericsson. think abt the strength when combined with another giant SONY.
But the problem is, most of the people are used to nokia, and some are not ready to divert from that. I would like to say to all those dudes ... OPEN YOUE EYES AND SEE ... what SE is giving you at a reasonable price and what Nokia is giving at a high price ... for an example if you compare SE T610 and Nokia 7250i .. you will understand what i'm saying.
I must add that, recently Nokia's designers have gone nutz . I think all you guys have seen the shape less (you can say mad shaped) phones came out recently (7700, 7600).
talking about other competetors,. ... sendo is making a good one (Sendo X), LG is making good models, also Samsung and Seimens are goving out several good models, and NeoNode is working on a great one (N1) ... M mmm seems good .. competetive ... BUT ...
NOTHING CAN BEAT THE GREAT KING PHONE SE P900.

I am just about to get the T610. New nokia phones are quite poor in quality. All those people who think that people who own nokias will never change, think again. The sony ericsson is much better than any nokia phone out now. I am one of the sucessfull changers. I used to have a Nokia 3310, then a 3410, then I was going to get a 6610, but then I saw the T610 - WHAT A PHONE!!! much better than the crap 7250i and the utterly strange 3650 (what the f*ck is that?!?!), so overall, Sony Ericsson is 1st, Nokia is 2nd (or last, i think samsung and siemens come before nokia)
Cheers
(I know this is in the wrong thread, but is there anyone who knows about reviving dead n3310's - email me dontpannic @ ntlworld.com
cheers)

I'm not a nokia addicted person i am using ericsson since gh388 but the new fones t68 t610 etc are extremely slow sometimes this makes me sick. i can't understand why the fone reacts a second after i push a button? nokia never had this sucking feature(?) i had t100 t68i t610 in the last few years but now I'm fed up
I bought 7600 and it is the best fone i ever owned! and i don't care what people think of its shape! it is perfect
