Ok well Im planning to get the motorola MAXX GSM but the phone says 900/and so on. But I think im in a 850MHZ which phone does not support. the North American GSM frequencies are 850 and 1900 MHZ. if you phone is 1900 only and you are in an 850 area. it wont work

if the tower in your area is only broadcasting 850, then it won't work, if it's broadcasting 1900 it will.
