Is there any tweaks so you can use pearl 8100 without using the $19.99 plan to access webpages, using the 5.99 plan instead?

I don't know of one, maybe itsajoey's method for dash would work. I'm not saying this at you, but the whole crowd that does this. Why do people buy these pda's when they know the internet is like 20/month and try to find ways to get it for 5.99?

true, Dash i think is the phone to get, even though its a little on the Fat side, but not as bad as other smartphones.

haha oh its sooo funny ok the reason why i bought the dash is for the full internet and at first the guy never explaind that i needed the 30 dollar data plan. yea its not 20 haha. and 30 bucks to me is alot i pay for everything and i dont have that great of a job.and my bill is already 70 + all the bs taxes they throw on there so if i did the real data plan my bill would be 100+ all the taxes. so what i do is just change the proxy setting and pay the 6 bucks for internet.
but its great i dont have to pay for data at all right now cuz of the wm6 upgrade the proxy hole is back haha .

yeah i already know about the dash i ended up finding a site online that you can tweak the Dash's but not the blackberry. the blackberry plan is $20 not $30, thats what i was referring too! plus i like the wi-fi feature on the dash. if the blackberry pearl had it i would be sold on it. thanks!

dashsmartzone.com shows the 5.99 tweak for the dash. the pearl isnt compatible with t-zones thats why its not offered.

The trick won't be working for long, t-mobile knows that it was a "trick" people had been using to use the internet feature on PDA phones. The 5.99 feature was not designed to use the internet buy only to use t-zones content (sport scores, stock qoutes, etc.) Do not be suprised if you receive either billing errors, or internet errors if you are trying to use that feature for a smart phone.
