Motorola RIZR can't open picture - Error: Unable to download

I have a motorola rizr z3.my friend sent me a picture message. However when I open up the message, it says "Error: Unable to download."
Is there anyway to fix this?
My friend tried sending it to me twice.I get the same message both times.

What phone does he have? It might be space left on your phone or the size of the picture he's sending.

it was the mms settings on my phone. got it to work finally!

I had the old att wirless simcard, bought my rizr off ebay. had to configure the mms settings to the old att settings.found it by searching these forums.
well, i don't know how i did it, but i got it to work, thanks.

i have an unlocked Z3 RIZR that im using with an at&t sim card. its not letting me receive multimedia messages. after looking at these forums it keeps showing how to change the settings but my phone isnt showing the options of "web access" to be able to change those settings. so how do i change the message settings on my phone?
