Does anybody know a back door number for verizon cell phones? I would like to be able to check my voicemail from a landline sometimes.

Make a phone call from your landline to your cell phone number, then when it reaches your recorded greeting - interrupt it with the # key, then enter your password and your in the voice mail box.

I actually have the same question - BUT, I'm not a Verizon Wireless customer. I want to leave a message for a Verizon Wireless customer but I dont want their phone to ring. Is there any (888), (800), or any other number that allows me to do this?
Thanks!

To do this, call your voicemail box. When you get to your voicemail box press 2. The computer voice will prompt you to enter a number. Enter your number and then press pound, 555-555-5555#.
It will ask you to record your message and then press pound and continue to sending it. REMEMBER you can only send voicemails to existing VERIZON WIRELESS numbers! So if you are trying to send to an ATT customer, it will not work. You will receive a message saying "You cannot use this feature to send to a non-subscriber".
