every time i turn on or off my phone it says "dolce and gabana".how do i stop this from happening? please it's going to be the death of me i can't take it any more!

Actually, no it won't. Cancer or a car wreck can kill you. The animation and wav at power-up or -down is merely annoying. Double-posting is said to be bad for your health, but I doubt that, too.))

You should be able to disable the startup and shutdown animation/splash screen with P2K Advanced Editor. Same for startup/shutdown sounds.

Nope--P2K Advanced Editor as well as just about every other P2K program for Motorola phones, and the drivers they require, are free. Try the download sections at modmymoto.com or motox.info-- if you don't find the programs and drivers themselves as well as instructions for installing the drivers, you'll at least find links to download them.
You will also need a USB-to-USB-Mini cable, but those are cheap; my little digital camera (a Canon A410) came with one that works fine.
P2K Advanced Editor lets you change a whole bunch of stuff. You can change the picture that shows on the outer display, disable/enable startup and shutdown splash screens and sounds, edit the gain table (controls how loud the earpiece, speaker, etc. are and controls microphone sensitivity), and all kinds of other stuff by clicking buttons and maybe typing a little. Other P2K programs let you install or delete ringtones and wallpapers and back up files from the phone.
For some excellent tutorials, have a look at the "sticky" threads at howardforums and modmymoto as well as motomodders.net and motox.info.

dude if u dont want the dolce featured whyd u get a dolce fone u hould jus bought a v3i and buy some gold housing or buy the v3xx gold and enjoy it without D&G
