I recently got a T-Mobile RAZR, and contacted Cingular and they provided me with a subsidy unlock code. The code indeed allowed me to use the phone with my Cingular SIM and the Cingular network, but the phone still displays the T-Mobile splash screens when I turn the phone on and off. Also, the menus still have T-Mobile items in them. Does anybody know how to get rid of this T-Mobile stuff from my phone?
Thanks!

They gave me the subsidy code because I have an old ATT calling plan, and they won't give or even sell me a new phone without upgrading to a new Cingular plan (which is not nearly as good!). I told them that I bought my own phone, but it needed to be unlocked to work with my account. Then about 3 days later, they sent it to me in email. I suggest you be persistent. The first phone they unlocked they did it quickly. The second phone, they didn't respond, so I submitted the request again, and they gave me the code. I guess it depends on the agent who answers the call.
