My friend gave me his Razr which is a cingular one, it is unlocked so I can use as a T-Mobile customer, I'd like to know if there is anyway I can get the T-Mobile settings onto it so I can browse their web and use all their extra stuff like web and others. If anyone can help i'd really appreciate it, you can email me at lilbizlaykray@hotmail or just reply on this post and i will check it as often as possible. Thanks for your help!

Just go to the T-Mobile Wireless Configurator, pick your manufacturer and phone and what you want to set up, then give it your phone number and type a short anti-spam security code, and they'll send you the settings.

You can also call customer care and have them send you the settings.

I'm new here and I cant find out how to post topics or anything . so Im just going to ask from here if thats alright.
So, I have a razr V3 phone that was given to me from a friend and I have a t mobile sim in it. when I insert it, it asks for a subsidy password or for me to contact the service provider, which Im not going to do, because cingular is not my service provider.
I have also read a few other topics on this website about how they(cingular providers) dont give out the unlock codes.
Basicly, I just need my phone unlocked so i can use it, and way I can get this done freely?
Or easily without it taking a long amount of time?
Any links or anything like that?
Thanks muchly.

People aren't supposed to be passing along unlock information on forums but it happens here anyways. The moto forum can help you with this.
