Been trying for a couple of days how to get my Samsung "Stripe" phone to connect with my PC via Bluetooth. I've made the PC discoverable, the dongle is in place and operational. My phone's bluetooth is operational as well. I tried pairing it with an earpiece and that worked without any issue. Any tips or hints that anyone could or would like to share with this particular model of phone? I've searched all over the forum but found no real reference to my particular phone, let alone anything to do with bluetooth connectivity with my phone and a PC. Thanks, all.

I'm having the exact same problem as the origional poster, with my samsung stripe not connecting via blue tooth with my computer. I called tmobile though, they 'suggested that maybe the bluetooth formats are incompatible. whatever that means. i'm still waiting on a call back from their specialists though so we'll see what happens.

After many hours on the phone with t mobile, samsung, and sony (my laptop maker) it has been declared that the samsung stripe does not connect to pc's via blue tooth or anything, leaving me quite unsatisfied. but there you go.

I just got the Samsung Stripe t329 also with bluetooth because I just bought a Lexus with voice activation bluetooth only to find out that there are only certain phones that will pair with the Lexus (nice of them to keep that from me at the point of sale). This is not one of them.
I did get the Stripe to pair with the Plantronics Explorer 330 headset but can't figure out if I can do the voice activation that the headset says to do. When I push the button nothing happens. Do I still have to use the phone to dial all the time? New to bluetooth and confused.

Hi Guys/Gals just came across this post whilst I was diagnosing the issue at another forum.
A quick look on their homepage FAQ suggest the phone has limited bluetooth capability and only connects to the likes of earpieces and external speakers via bluetooth not PCs so it looks like your out of luck sorry.
| Quote: | What Bluetooth Profiles Are Supported On My SGH-t329?
The SGH-t329 handset supports the following Bluetooth profiles:
Headset Profile (HSP): HSP is the most popular Bluetooth profile because it connects the phone to a wireless Bluetooth-enabled headset. When an incoming call is received, a tone can be heard through the headset, instead of the phone. The call can then be received by pushing a button on the Bluetooth headset. You can increase or decrease the volume by using the volume key on the side of the phone.
Hands-Free Profile (HFP): HFP allows a connection from the phone to a wireless Bluetooth-enabled car kit. Incoming calls ring to the hands-free headset or device. Calls can be received by pressing a button on the Bluetooth headset or device. As for dialing, four functions are supported: recent call dial, voice dial, speed dial, and number dial. You can increase or decrease the volume by using the volume key on the side of the phone.
Note: For more specific Bluetooth profile information please visit the following website

EDIT Sorry I cant provide link as Im new the functionality to post them is disabled.Just check the Samsung website under FAQ

Cheers all,
I have a Samsung Stripe and I can confirm that it will not receive data via bluetooth, even while sitting on top of the longest-range bluetooth dongle on the market.
