Verizon disables the Bluetooth capability (for file transfer) in all of its phones. I just bought 3 new ones, one for each line on my account. One major reason I did it now instead of later was that I really wanted a phone with Bluetooth and my old phone did not have it. At the store Bluetooth was prominently displayed as a feature of the phones I bought. I like Verizon network and have never had a problem with a phone but this makes me feel ripped off.

the EnV seems to be Locked as well. I can only send contact cards, not files. If someone knows how to fix this please let me know. I agree on the feeling of 'ripped off'.

Hey verizon010, you're saying the 8700 has FULL BT capabilities? How? I have not been able to send my pix via bt to my laptop (which has bt and is enabled). the phn can (and is) paired with it but no "files" will xfr. only contacts.

Thanks, sg1strgt
